The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a movie that can leave the viewer pondering for a long time about the mortality of life and how transient life is. The Brad Pitt Starrer is an absolute thrill to watch this season. The movie is full of digital effects and brilliant with technology. All the latest effects digitally have been employed into the movie to get the right message through to the viewers. Yes of course it is a movie that has to be watched in none other than the high definition. The movies specs involve a man called Benjamin Button who is born old or at least looking old and over the years he lives he actually grows younger and younger in appearance where as he is actually getting old in real terms. Finally when he ends up on his death bed he ends up as a baby or a new born child on his death bed. The special effects that have been employed for the first part of the movie that can be witnessed through out the first one hour of the movie are simply amazing that words cannot express it as much the effects do.

The movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button lasts for 3 hours which suggests that it is a long movie to watch and also the Brad Pitt who starts looking old starts from an old man to a sexy teen figure. By the end of few scenes we will have Brad Pitt in his sexiest most avatars again. However there has been a lot of digitally mastered hocus pocus involved in making Brad Pitt look what he is in the movie. However the special effects are so natural that he looks so young like back in good old movies like Thelma and Louise and unbelievably young. Cate Blanchett playing the female lead in the movie is Brad Pitts love through out the movie. The make up and gimmicks have been applied to her too and it looks wonderful on both. All the scenes between them are very intense and surely the actors have done complete justice to their roles. This age transformation is only happening to Benjamin however the remaining roles like his love Daisy are all going through the natural ageing process. The most interesting scene in the movie is when Brad Pitt comes back to meet Daisy in his prime, she becomes old and yet there is the same physical attraction between them.

Love doesn’t age with time is probably the message the director is trying to convey. However the entire movie narrates Benjamin Button’s life from start to end and how life seems when it is led on reversal. He lived fairly long like 100 years and that is why the movie took so long to finish. The entire 3 hours narrates the life story of a man who live 100 years just a bit differently. This is one of the best movies to watch for this season easily.
